I’m Lorraine Fred—stylist, educator, and salon owner with 35+ years behind the chair. I built Lorraine’s House of Styles in Hoboken, NJ and now split my time between Hoboken and South Tampa, FL. My passion is creating healthy, wearable hair: dimensional balayage and highlights that grow out beautifully, lived-in color, curly cuts tailored to your texture, and seamless extensions. Why I Do What I Do
I grew up obsessed with transformations—how a precise cut, a smart color formula, or the right treatment can change how someone feels in their own skin. After opening my Hoboken salon more 25 years ago, I built a team known for dimensional color, curly expertise, hair extensions, smoothing, brows & lashes, and bridal beauty. Today, I split my time between Hoboken and South Tampa, bringing the same high standards, education-first approach, and warm, no-ego vibe to every chair.
