If you're unsure which service to book after reviewing our menu, please feel free to contact us for guidance. We also welcome consultations for color services to help you achieve the best results.

Can I change my services the day of if I run out of time during my visit ?
We kindly ask that you review your scheduled service times, as our stylists have reserved the specific time allotment listed for you. If you need to leave sooner than planned, please note that our cancellation policy will apply only to those services that are changed or canceled at the last minute. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Will extensions damage my hair?
No. Our skilled extension specialists prioritize scalp health, use techniques for fine hair, provide home care guidance, and follow up to maintain hair and scalp health.

What do I do if I don’t love my hair after my appointment?
At Lorraine's House of Styles, we always want you to be more than happy with your hair. We strive for you to love your look, and if the results were not as you imagined, please let us know as soon as possible. We are happy to offer adjustments within 3 days to ensure you leave our salon smiling. Our goal is for you to feel incredible. Please note, we do not offer refunds.

Can I get work done during my color or extension appointment?
Our clients appreciate the peaceful atmosphere of our salon, which allows them to work on their laptops without interruption. To maintain this environment for everyone, we kindly ask that conference calls and loud conversations be kept to a minimum or taken outside the salon. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

Where can I park or is public transit easier?
Hoboken’s location makes parking easy. Metered street parking is available before 5pm. A garage is a 2-minute walk away. The Street light rail station is 2 blocks from the salon for convenient transit access.

What can I expect once I book an appointment as a new client?
Our stylist will contact you to request current and desired hair photos for color services and discuss any service adjustments. You’ll also get an email with our cancellation policy to sign and a welcome text with visit details. We aim to make your first visit stress-free, like a returning guest.

What happens if I need to reschedule an appointment ?
We kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations. This policy enables us to effectively manage and fill canceled appointment slots. If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, 50% of the reserved booking fee will be charged to the card on file.
To ensure full understanding of this policy, we ask that you carefully review and sign our digital cancellation agreement, which will be sent to you via email. Thank you for your cooperation.
